The Aedes Datacentrum is the central intelligence hub for the Dutch social housing sector, which manages nearly 30% of the total housing stock in the Netherlands (over 2.4 million homes).

It aggregates data from all 250+ non-profit housing associations (woningcorporaties).

The platform is built on the mandatory regulatory data submissions required by the government: the dVi (historical accountability data) and the dPi (prospective financial budgets and construction plans).

It powers the annual Aedes Benchmark, which ranks housing associations on tenant satisfaction, operational costs, maintenance efficiency, and sustainability.

While detailed dashboards are restricted to Aedes members, the underlying dPi and dVi datasets are published as open data by the Authority for Housing Associations (Aw / ILT).

This data is highly valuable for PropTech companies targeting the massive social housing market, allowing them to analyze the financial health, maintenance budgets, and sustainability targets of individual housing associations.
