Datawonen is het officiële platform voor beleidsinformatie over de woningmarkt, beheerd door ABF Research in opdracht van het ministerie van BZK. Het bevat uitgebreide dashboards en rapportages over de Staat van de Woningmarkt, de woningbouwopgave, en de prestaties van woningcorporaties (Aedes-benchmark). Het is de primaire bron voor gemeenten, provincies en het Rijk om woonbeleid te monitoren en te evalueren. De data omvat woningvoorraadinformatie, bouwproductiecijfers en betaalbaarheidsanalyses.
Datawonen is the central data platform for policy information regarding the Dutch housing market, managed by ABF Research on behalf of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK).
The platform provides comprehensive dashboards, monitors, and datasets tracking the 'State of the Housing Market' (Staat van de Woningmarkt). It includes critical data on the national housing construction targets (woningbouwopgave), housing affordability, and the performance and financial health of social housing associations (woningcorporaties).
Datawonen is heavily utilized by policymakers at the municipal, provincial, and national levels, as well as housing associations and researchers, to evaluate housing policies, monitor construction progress, and assess regional housing needs. The platform is a key reference for the Dutch government's ambition to build 900,000 new homes by 2030.
